Jess laughed at the hooking-up comment. “Yes, you do get trained. But I haven’t got to do that yet. And the people here are not stupid. Not all of them, anyway.” she shrugged, glancing at the numerous couples, when she noticed Lucas’s sad stare. “Lighen up. Come one what’s thevcraziest thing you’ve ever done?”“Fine. We’ll go later, if you still want to” the girl said, smiling. “I was actually there, at least for the last fight. It was pretty intense” she added, looking at the dark sky. “But it was quite fun. Exept the punches, that is. So, what made you move your nice ass to the bonfire?” Jess asked, taking a sip from her drink.Lucas smiled as Jess described the last bonfire to him. She wasn’t telling him anything new, but it was still a funny story to listen to. If only because he had been safe in his cabin that night and missed all of the violence. He wasn’t a mean or rude person, but he was coming under the impression that a lot of the people with specific abilities at that place were idiots. Plain and simple.
“Just the invitation, really.” He smiled at her and shrugged. It wasn’t a complicated reason, but he felt obligated to make good on his promise to show up. It would’ve been rude to accept and then just stay away. “I’m just curious, do people actually do things and learn things with their powers here? Or is all about acting stupid and just hooking up with the next guy or girl?”

Jess wasn’t so much into drinking, after and ugly incident in the 8th grade, but she did like to pretend she was drunk at the parties, this way no one would blame her if she said something cheeky or too forward. And it was fun to listen to what other people answer her. Suddenly, an idea popped into her head. “Wanna do something else, instead of going to the bonfire?” she asked. “I know a really nice place.”“Maybe later?” Lucas asked, curiously. He smiled at her to make sure she knew that he didn’t dislike her idea. He liked it a lot in fact. “I was invited, though, so it’d be a bit rude of me not to show up. But hey, hopefully it won’t be that bad. At least I’ll have your familiar face to keep me company.” He smiled at her again and then gave her another playful nudge.
“Did you come to the last one? I heard it got pretty crazy. Violent, even.” He didn’t know all of the details and he wasn’t the sort of person that liked to pry. But it had been quite the topic of discussion in the main cabin and he had caught bits and pieces of it. For the most part, he was pretty happy that he hadn’t shown up to it.

Time for socializing, the girl thought while browsing for some clothes to wear. In the end, she decided to go with some black shorts and a white cardigan, hoping…
“None that I’m aware of,” he said, smirking at her. “What about you?” As they made their way down to the bonfire, Lucas playfully gave her tiny body a nudge when he could. He knew that most of the faces at the bonfire wouldn’t be familiar to him, so he was glad that Jess had decided to go. Granted, she was probably more into this stuff than he was. Which wasn’t a bad thing. He was just different.
“So, how’ve you been?” Again, he hadn’t seen her in over a week and they had had a good time at that waterfall that she had been kind enough to show him. After, he made a point to visit it almost every single day. Like the lake, the waterfall had become a place of refuge for him. Unlike the lake, though, he visited the waterfall at night so that the view was even better.

@Lucas
“Hey” Jessie smirked briefly at Lucas. Now that’s gonna be fun, she thought devilishly. “What’s up, lover boy?” she asked, playfully biting her bottom lip. She was a bit surprised that she found Lucas here, she didn’t thought that he was into partying and that kind of stuff. “Broke any hearts yet?”Jessie closed the book that she was reading, then she placed herself in front of her wardrobe. Time for socializing, the girl thought while browsing for some clothes to wear. In the end, she decided to go with some black shorts and a white cardigan, hoping that it will keep her warm.
When she got at the bonfire, there was a big crowd of people standing on the ground, chatting with their friends. The brunette sighted, when she felt someone’s hand pat her shoulder.
“Boo,” Lucas said with a smile as he caught up to where Jessie was and nudged her shoulder with his hand. He had seen her walking towards the bonfire and decided to try and catch up so that he didn’t seem awkward showing up alone and at random. Not that he particularly cared what others thought. At least, he didn’t most of the time.
As Lucas set his bright blue eyes on Jess, his smiled widened a bit. It was good to see a familiar face. He hadn’t actually seen her since his second day there, which was almost two weeks ago. So he was glad that she seemed well enough to see what might happen at this bonfire. He’d heard about the last one so he was definitely curious.
